With the league already won Gracia made several changes giving a chance to a number of players who have not always been regulars this season as well as naming five players from the B team in the squad that travelled to Guadalajara. Despite all the changes the team that started played with confidence and powered forward looking for the victory although it wasn't until a quarter of an hour had passed before Alvaro had the first effort, which was too high of the mark. Then in the 24th minute Rubiato scored a tremendous goal when he collected the ball near the halfway line and fired in a super left footed shot from all of 30 yards to make it 0-1 to los amarillos. Still Cadiz pushed forward and on the stroke of half time their lead was doubled when a quick break out by Cadiz saw Alvaro race into the area after collecting a good pass from Rosu and fire in another super left foot shot, after turning a defender, that flew past Sanmiguel, the Guadalajara keeper to make it 0-2 at half time.

With both sides managers making changes early in the second half the pendulum swung the way of the home team as they looked the more likely to score. In the 65th minute David Garcia was adjudged to have brought down a Guadalajara forward in the box and Alex stepped up to fire home the penalty to make it 1-2 with still twenty five minutes left. It was the home team that caused the more problems to Dani in the Cadiz goal, but the youngster, who has performed well this year when called up, pulled off a couple of great flying saves to keep los amarillos ahead. With the final whistle approaching Cortes, Barreiro and young Jose Caballero from the B team all had half chances but were unable to trouble Sanmiguel again and the match ended 1-2. This final victory increased the points tally of Cadiz to 79. which is a record for the Segunda B Group 4 division, beating the previous record of 77 set by Motril.
