Sesma has played with Corralejos, Univ. Las Palmas, Mallorca B, Ceuta and Córdoba, and his signing for Cadiz in the summer of 2003 has been a major factor in their massive improvement in fortunes in the last 2 years. Although initially thought of as a centre midfielder he has been a revelation on the left wing, and in his first season he spent more minutes on the pitch than any other player, taking part in 41 games, finishing second highest scorer behind Oli. The 2004/05 season has been equally successful, again taking part in all the games and his pace and finishing have enabled him to score more from left wing than any other player in the team. Took some time to break into the team last year but ended as joint top scorer with Lobos. After much negotiating has been sold to Real Valladolid, who gained promotion to the Primera Liga last season.
