Ezequiel started his footballing career at Cadiz in 2003, playing for the B team before being sent on loan to Malaga B in 2005, where he performed admirably and started 23 times. His impressive displays at Malaga B saw him return to Cadiz in 2006, where he was named in the first team squad but rarely played. The following season he was on loan at local rivals Racing Club Portuense before going on loan last season to Real Jaen. Has returned this year as cover for Raul Lopez.
