After spending 2 years in the Segunda B division with Balona then Sevilla B, Bezares was promoted to the Sevilla first team but only managed to play 53 minutes in the Primera Liga. Realising his chances were limited, he moved to Cadiz, and although he has found it hard to dislodge Suarez from the starting XI, his tough tackling and chasing in midfield have made him the ideal substitute to bring on to protect a lead. Great work horse and ever dependable in the defensive midfield role. Remains at Cadiz despite relegation to the Segunda B and is a favourite son of the fans. Unable to hold onto a regular place in the side has gone on loan to OFI Crete until the end of the 2008/2009 season.
