Neru has joined Cadiz in 2007, from Racing Santander, where he has been since 1993 playing through the clubs exploits in the third, second and primera divisions, where he has played some 7 seasons. He is a very experienced central defender and has been brought in as cover for the injured Paz. With the partnership at the heart of defence of De Quintana and Caneda, he never managed to break into the team and has been sold to Sporting Gijon for the 2007/2008 season.
