Moran was born in Madrid and started his playing career with Real Madrid in their C and B teams. He stayed for 3 years before being signed by Racing Santander where he played 20 games in his first season in the primera liga but was unable to keep a regular place the following season, only making 2 appearances. He was then sent on loan for 2 seasons to Numancia and Orense before returning to the first team squad at Racing. Remained there for another 6 seasons playing many games in the primera liga until his contract ran out and was not renewed. He remained in full training and was finally signed by Cadiz during last season when he made 15 appearances. Has yet to start this term but his experience at the higher level should be a tremendous asset to Cadiz. Was never able to break into the team on a regular basis and his contract has been terminated for the 2007/2008 season.
