Kamil Kosowski was born in Poland on the 30th August 1977. He is a right winger who started his career in Poland playing for his home team Gornik Zabrze before moving to first division side Wisla Krakow, where he gained wider recognition playing in the 2002/03 UEFA Cup. He was then signed by German side Kaiserslautern but he never fully acclimatized at the club with problems learning the language. He then went on loan to Southampton where he played 18 times in the 2005/06 season. The following season he was on loan again, this time to Italian side Chievo Verona where he played 23 times. Last season he was back in Poland with Wisla Krakow but was unable to hold down a regular first team place and has now been signed by Cadiz in January 2008 for 2.5 seasons. He has played to a very high standard and gained 46 caps playing for the Polish National side and it is hoped that he will bring another dimension to the side.
