Gonzalo Vicente is a 27 year old Uruguayan signed from Real Valladolid where he played 19 games last year helping them to promotion to the Primera Liga. He played in Italy for Venice during the 2005/06 season and before that had two seasons at Liverpool of Uruguay. He should provide some competition, as well as cover, for Raul Lopez, who is out injured for at least 4 weeks.
