Francisco Jose CORTES Vazquez is a local lad born in Cadiz who has come up through the ranks at Cadiz and was given his chance in the first team squad in the 2007/08 season by Antonio Calderon, who called him up to the first team squad but rarely used him in the team. He is a midfielder who is a playmaker and interest has been shown in the last couple of years by both Barcelona and Espanyol but he is under contract to Cadiz until 2011
