Joseba Arriaga Dosantos - Is the third new signing announced by the club. He is a forward born on the 28th July 1982 in Ermua, Northern Spain making his debut in the third division in 2000 with CD Baskonia before moving up a division the following season to play in the Segunda B with Bilbao Athletic. In 2002 he was signed by Athletic Bilbao and debuted in the Primera Liga in September of that year playing 41 games and scoring 11 times. The following season he played 32 times with 7 goals but after that was unable to hold down a regular place. In 2005 he went on loan to Eibar before signing for Las Palmas in 2006 where he played 32 games in the Segunda A but only scored 1 goal. In 2007 he was signed by Real Jaen and in the last part of the last season he played 14 times and scored 11 goals helping them to the play offs.

Two new signings have been announced for the forthcoming season:

Abraham Gonzalez Casanova - Born in Barcelona on the 16th July 1985 the midfielder has been signed for two seasons. He started his professional career at Terrassa playing in the Segunda B before signing for Barcelona B in 2007 and made his debut for the first team last season in the Copa del Rey match against Benidorm. He is relatively short at about 5' 9" and is seen as a playmaker who is also able to fill in at the back.

Fernando Velasco Salazar - Born in Cordoba on the 8th January 1985 he is another midfielder who usually plays down the flanks, especially the right, and has been signed from Lucena where he scored 7 goals last season playing in the Segunda B. He started his career at Marbella before moving on to Estepona, Fuengirola and finally Lucena where he has been since 2007.

Trofeo de Carranza - The draw has been held and Cadiz meet Deportivo in the first semi final on Thursday 13th August; Sevilla play Valencia on Friday 14th August and the final two matches take place on Saturday 15th August with the losers of the two semi finals playing each other for third and fourth place whilst the two winners play for the trophy.

Trofeo de Carranza - Ticket prices have been announced for the Trofeo and they have been significantly reduced compared to previous years. For adults they range from €44 in the Fondos up to €89 in the Tribuna for the three days. The prices are discounted further for season ticket holders. For children under the age of 15 prices range from €25 in the Fondos up to €38 in the Tribuna. Tickets go on sale to season ticket holders from today until the 25th July and to the general public thereafter.

Trofeo de Carranza - The four teams contesting for the trophy this year are: Cadiz, Sevilla, Valencia and Deportivo and the matches will be played during the 13th, 14th and 15th of August 2009. Ticket prices should be published within the next week and we will update the information as soon as it is to hand.

Season Tickets - The season ticket prices for the forthcoming season have also been announced today and although they have been increased from last year, they are virtually the same prices that would have been payable had Cadiz won their appeal last season and played in the Segunda A. The ticket prices have been updated in the 'Ticket Info' section. In view of the current economic crisis the club have advised that there will be no 'dias de club' this season, where even season ticket holders have to pay for their ticket, albeit at a reduced rate. Furthermore the tickets can be paid for in one instalment, four or nine instalments.
